Italidea is the language school at the Italian Cultural Institute
of Chicago.
Founded
in 1985, then Italian Cultural Institute of Chicago is one of five
official cultural agencies of the Italian Ministry of Foreign
Affairs in the United States. The Institute focuses on Italy’s
classic and contemporary heritage (art, music, cinema, design,
architecture, science, technology) and on the teaching of Italian.
:: Italian Language Courses ::
At
Italidea, all language courses are taught by native-speaking,
experienced instructors and are based on the Common European
Framework of Reference Specifications.
Small
class sizes allow students to participate and interact with each
other in order to achieve fluency in Italian and to get in touch
with the Italian culture. Group language courses are available in
ten-week terms for all levels.
Italian culture courses are offered as well. Private language
courses are available year-round to fit your personal or
professional needs. Italidea also offers courses on Italian
cuisine, music, wine, contemporary film, literature, theatre and
more. |
